April L Pope is a music industry veteran with extensive experience. She has a wealth of experience in global marketing, artist development and label operations, and has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry. In her role as VP of Label Development & Marketing at ADA Worldwide (a division of Warner Music Group), she leads the marketing and commercial strategy for some of Africa's largest independent record labels and distributors including Africori, Chocolate City and Ziki Media, which represents some of the most successful Afrobeats and Amapino artists, including Blaqbonez, Young Jonn, Sarkodie, Iyanya, Focalistic, Kamo Impela, Kelvin Momo, etc. Her previous position at Universal Music Group South and Sub-Saharan Africa was Director/Head of International Repertoire Development, where she was responsible for exporting key priority artists from East, West, and South Africa into international territories worldwide for Tiwa Savage, Stonebwoy, Nasty C, Major League DJz
